Project Experience Where Innovation Meets Care: vRad’s New Edina, MN Headquarters Edina, MN Project Stats Completed 2025 Location Edina, MN Square Footage 12,143 Partners & Manufacturers ESG, Mission Construction, JL Commercial Services, Allsteel, Enwork, Gunlocke, OFS, Source International, Bernhardt Manufacturers Used vRad, a leader in virtual radiology and a highly tech-forward company, was preparing to relocate from its existing building into a new 12,143 SF headquarters. The goal was to create a modern, professional environment that reflected their brand, supported their fast-paced operations, and accommodated advanced technology needs while delivering a welcoming, flexible workspace for staff and visitors. Setup of critical IT servers had to occur before all other work was executed as part of the relocation. Selecting all-new furniture solutions was required to meet both functional and aesthetic goals of the project. Henricksen was engaged early on in the process, and partnered with vRad during property tours to select the right space before any design work began. There was no formal RFP process, so alignment on the project vision, budget, and schedule across multiple stakeholders was necessary to ensure the project’s success. This early alignment on project goals, ensured that the design supported vRad’s operational needs and brand identity. Henricksen managed the three-phase furniture installation which included IT/server relocation, private offices and boardroom build-out, and final installation of training room technology and furnishings. Furniture selected included: • Allsteel Mural workstations and benching with Evo task chairs • Enwork conference tables and Source International conference seating • Gunlocke private office furniture and boardroom tables/chairs • Bernhardt seating for the training room and OFS tables for collaborative spaces • Studio TK reception pieces for a polished first impression The renovated vRad headquarters now features a fully modernized environment that supports both the company’s high-tech operations and its collaborative culture. The space is outfitted with state-of-the-art meeting and training rooms, private offices, and an inviting reception area, delivering a professional yet welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors alike. - Le Truc Clubhouse
Publicis Groupe's Le Truc redefines office spaces with a creative layout, flexible areas, and unique design, winning the Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Award Project Experience Le Truc Clubhouse New York, NY Project Stats Completed 2023 Location New York, NY Square Footage 30,000 Partners & Manufacturers A + I, Humanscale Manufacturers Used Publicis Groupe, a global advertising company, recently completed a project that redefines the conventional office space. Le Truc is a unique creative collective housed within Publicis Groupe’s headquarters in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Recognizing that the era of the standard office has ended, Le Truc was conceived to challenge traditional agency models and create a space that fosters creativity. Publicis Groupe enlisted the expertise of Architecture Plus Information (A+I), renowned for its work on other cutting-edge headquarters, such as Squarespace and Peloton, to tackle the project. The goal was to attract people back into a brick-and-mortar office environment. Le Truc’s floor plan deviates from the traditional office layout, featuring fewer than 90 desks for an estimated staff of 250. The space emphasizes team rooms, phone booths, sofas, and other flexible areas. A+I’s vision was to create interconnected open spaces for meetings and semi-secluded areas for brainstorming and focused work. Henricksen was responsible for furniture procurement and installation. They worked closely with the client and A+I to create a vibrant and inspiring workspace for Le Truc that seamlessly integrated unique furniture options within its unconventional work environment. The finish selections were selected to complement and enhance the vibrant colors of the interior. The lounges, sunken seating areas, and communal tables encouraged spontaneous interaction and creativity. The layout and tiered seating heights were inspired by outdoor dining and open-air performance spaces that popped up across New York City during the pandemic. The uniqueness of Le Truc doesn’t end with the design; it carries over into the branding and even the naming of the rooms. Several spaces are named after monsters — Gollum, Count Dracula, and Falkor, among others. This approach was intended to inspire creators to bring ideas to life. Henricksen’s role in overseeing furniture procurement and installation ensured that Le Truc was not just a workspace, but a transformative environment that reflected the evolving nature of work in the modern world. Adding to its list of achievements, Le Truc won the Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Award in the Small Creative Office category, further validating its innovative approach to office space design. This award is a testament to the creativity, innovation, and dedication that went into the conception and execution of Le Truc. Mar 18, 2025 This Women’s History Month, Henricksen is honoring remarkable women in our industry, thoughtfully nominated by our employees for their inspiration and impact. Today, we feature Rosemary Vespo, Territory Manager, Dealer Sales – Chicago at Global Furniture Group in Chicago, IL. Rosemary draws inspiration from women in her life and throughout history. This includes historical advocates for change, leaders at Global who foster a culture of support, and especially the women in her family, particularly her grandmother, who emigrated to the U.S. from Italy in her twenties. These women motivate Rosemary to lead with empathy, promote inclusivity, and ensure everyone feels heard and appreciated. Rosemary consistently strives to support those around her, and her peers describe her as embodying the positivity we hope to see in the world. She serves as the Associate Board Co-Chair for Designs for Dignity, dedicating nearly ten years to transforming non-profit environments through pro-bono design services. Throughout her design career, Rosemary has faced several challenges as a woman, including gender bias and the need to prove her expertise to earn respect. Despite these obstacles, she encourages women to trust their instincts, lead passionately, and build confidence in their profession. Recently, she participated in a career day at her all-girls Catholic high school. It was especially rewarding for her to see herself in the students' enthusiasm and to assure them they were on the right path. Inspired by the unwavering confidence of professional rugby athlete Ilona Maher, Rosemary urges women to overcome imposter syndrome and make decisions based on their goals and values. During Women's History Month and beyond, she emphasizes the importance of women uplifting one another, quoting Kate Hodges: “Behind every great woman is another great woman.” Share Copy link Facebook LinkedIn Pinterest More News + Insights Designing for Healing: How Henricksen is Shaping the Future of Behavioral Health Spaces February 13, 2026 Discover how behavioral health environments balance safety, comfort, and healing—featuring real project insights, lessons learned, and innovative solutions shaping modern care spaces. News + Insights COFCO, a Henricksen Company, opens new Experience Center and rebrands to Henricksen Henricksen is excited to announce the opening of the Washington DC Experience Center and the rebrand of COFCO to Henricksen. The new space will serve as a hub... May 1, 2024 (Washington, DC, May 1, 2024) Henricksen is pleased to announce the opening of their Washington DC Experience Center located on the 5th floor of 1725 I Street and the rebrand of COFCO, a Henricksen Company (“COFCO”), to Henricksen. The Henricksen Washington DC Experience Center will serve as a place for the community and the AEC industry to gather for events, meetings, continuing education, and networking. It will also provide staff with a refreshed work environment that enables them to showcase diverse and innovative ways of working. The new space will facilitate an interactive experience and serve as catalyst for the industry and local community to see workspaces in a different way. COFCO was acquired by Henricksen in 2022 because of an alignment in core values and a shared vision for the future. The rebrand of COFCO, to Henricksen in Washington DC will bring national name recognition to the talented local team and enhance their established regional industry relationships. “When we move to the new Experience Center, we will be branded Henricksen, but we are the same team. We wanted to showcase how well we know and understand the DC market through the design of the space,” said Kelly Hogan, Vice President of Operations, Henricksen, Washington DC. The new space is designed around different iconic Washington DC locations which represent different styles of working. As an example, the formal conference room is designated the “Library of Congress” and features rich woods, soft luggage leather, a bust of Washington, and gold frames of the United States presidents and the CEO of Henricksen. In contrast, the all-day café is designated “Union Market” and features industrial lighting and bench seating to reflect the atmosphere of Union Market itself. “This Experience Center and the rebrand are game changers for us,” said Joan Waters, General Manager, Henricksen, Washington DC. “The space will help our clients and partners better understand today’s work environments and the rebrand will provide more recognition in the market as Henricksen is a prominent national brand.” The Henricksen name will be reflected on all Washington DC materials beginning in May, including bid responses, presentations, invoices, email addresses, and website. “What excites me about the rebrand is having the name recognition and being able to leverage the experience and resources nationally that we need to grow locally,” said Joanna Verdi, Vice President of Sales, Washington DC. The opening of the new Experience Center and the rebrand of COFCO to Henricksen will pave the way for future growth in the Washington DC market. Stay tuned for news of future events to be held at the new Henricksen Experience Center, including an open house later this summer. - Forest County Potawatomi Community Center
The Forest County Potawatomi built a new 105,000 sq ft community center in Crandon, Wisconsin, reflecting Potawatomi values and culture. Henricksen furnished the entire building. Project Experience Forest County Potawatomi Community Center Lincoln, WI Project Stats Completed 2021 Location Lincoln, WI Square Footage 105,000 Partners & Manufacturers Resource One, Ramlow/Stein, Greenfire Management Manufacturers Used The Forest County Potawatomi viewed the construction of a new 105,000 square foot community center in Crandon, Wisconsin as an opportunity to create a hub for cultural education, recreation, athletic training, competition, wellness and social events for the Community. The building design sought to honor the Forest County Potawatomi values and culture. Natural elements like exposed wood were used and bright colors were taken from the Forest County Potawatomi logo. The footprint even mimics the shape of an eagle in flight. The building was programmed to meet the diverse needs of the community from the elders to the younger generations. All spaces, including the 20,000 square foot gymnasium, 8,000 square foot pool, classrooms, and shared spaces had to serve the entire community. To accommodate this diverse set of users, the furniture needed to be accessible and accommodating. Universal Design – the design of an environment so that it can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability – became a critical consideration. “We kept that at the forefront of our minds for all the furniture in the building,” said Tara Christian, Director of Interior Design at RAMLOW/STEIN Architecture + Interiors. For the community spaces, the furnishings are easily moved, accommodate different activities, and able to withstand use from a wide range of ages. Lightweight and adjustable height seating became the standard. To ensure durability, vinyl and non-woven textiles were selected and a moisture barrier or added coatings were used to ensure they withstood heavy use in all spaces, but especially the pool area. The furniture pieces were also chosen to work with the overall architecture and interior design of the building. Vibrant colors were selected to reflect the colors of the Forest County Potawatomi logo. The workstations and table tops used wood-like finishes to create that visual of wood and warmth on the surfaces. “We made sure that we could include the warmth of wood wherever possible,” said Christian, “Because this space is up in the north woods, nestled in the forest, having wood as an interior finish created a sense of warmth and brought the outside in.” Henricksen participated in design meetings and reviewed furniture specifications and fabric selections remotely because of COVID restrictions. “They had to send all the finishes up to Crandon so we could walk through them over the phone,” said Christian. “They gave of their time immensely.” Henricksen also used the “Designing with You” process on the project, using design tools like CET software to remotely draw and space plan right along with the architectural firm and the client in real time. Henricksen furnished the entire building, including the natatorium, game room, pediatric therapy space, training room, huddle spaces, teaching labs, lobby, woodshop room, child rearing, a community room used for large group instruction, and an administrative area. The administrative space is an open, long corridor. To best fit and serve the needs of the users, adjustable height corner clamp surfaces are used to accommodate base board heating vents. A privacy screen was also installed to prevent the loss of items that would drop under the tables. Christian syas of the collboration with Henricksen, “this project is a really good example of how Henricksen is a full-service firm, they can complete a project from RFP through to the end. They were really attentive and present throughout the process.” Share Copy link LinkedIn Facebook Pinterest Start Your Project First name* Last name* Email* Company Phone Subscribe to Our Newsletter* Yes No Location (City) Location (State)* State Upload a File (if needed) Upload a File Message* Submit
