Natalie Robinson reflects on mentorship, opportunity, and honoring legacy during Black History Month.
Feb 19, 2026
This Black History Month, we are proud to spotlight Natalie Robinson, Client Manager at Henricksen DC, whose 17-year career in the contract furniture industry reflects resilience, dedication, and the power of opportunity. Natalie joined Henricksen because of the people and remains because of the team she supports every day. She is deeply invested in their success and committed to helping them shine.
For Natalie, Black History Month is about honoring progress while creating new opportunities. She is especially passionate about mentoring people of color and helping students better understand the career paths available within the contract furniture industry. Natalie says, "Education and exposure can open doors to careers many people do not even know exist."
During Black History Month, she reflects on the sacrifices of her family, especially her grandmother, who left school after eighth grade to support her family and was incredibly proud of her grandchildren's accomplishments. Today, Natalie carries that legacy forward, celebrating her son, who graduated from college and now works at Google. As Natalie shares, "Black history should not be limited to one month. It is history, and it deserves recognition year-round."
We are grateful Natalie shared her story and perspective, and we are honored to have her as part of the Henricksen team.
