Scheduled for Thursday, May 13th, the Milwaukee Women in Commercial Real Estate Summit is back! The half day summit hosted by REjournals.com and Midwest Real Estate News will feature four sessions covering a variety of topics relevant to what is happening in commercial real estate throughout Metro Milwaukee. Topics include changes in property operations because of COVID-19, women leaders and owners in the real estate industry, overcoming workplace obstacles to success, and an outlook report on the real estate and construction markets.
Henricksen’s Emily Hurd, Principal + Vice President of Business Development, will be featured in the Women Real Estate Industry Leaders + Owners panel. Hurd will have an opportunity to share some of her experiences in what is often perceived as a male-dominated industry and her path to leadership at Henricksen. Emily is the first woman Principal of Henricksen since founder Shirley Henricksen sold the company in 1979.
In addition to Henricksen’s Emily Hurd, the 2021 Milwaukee Women in Commercial Real Estate will feature Brianna N. Komppa of WIPFLI, Amber Lawrence of Bear Construction, Trish Connolly of Ackman-Ziff, Heather Turner-Loth of Eppstein Uhen Architects, Amy Sovine of Physicians Realty Trust, Ali Kopyt of Korb + Associates, Anne Chandler of von Briesen + Roper, Leticia Shwengel of US Bank, Jenna Maguire of Founders 3, and Amy Barry of Berkadia.
The May 13th event will be virtual. Tickets are $49.
