Scott County CDA delivered a new headquarters office alongside Legacy Central senior housing in downtown Shakopee, creating a mixed-use community investment that supported both public services and affordable 55+ living. Henricksen supported the effort with furniture services, helping coordinate specifications, procurement, and installation planning to align with construction turnover and the move into the new CDA offices. The furnishing approach emphasized durable, easy-to-maintain solutions appropriate for a public-facing agency environment, with coordination that supported efficient day-one operations. Team alignment and logistics planning helped keep placement and install readiness tied to site access windows as the building transitioned from closeout into occupancy. The completed Workplace supported staff collaboration and community-facing work in a modernized setting.
In parallel, the broader development required consistent coordination across multiple stakeholders and building uses, from office operations to senior housing community needs. Henricksen’s project coordination helped keep the furniture scope organized against schedule milestones, balancing lead times with on-site sequencing to support a smooth opening period. Collaboration with the project team supported a cohesive, client-ready result without overcomplicating ongoing maintenance or future adjustments. Attention to delivery, staging, and install conditions helped ensure the furnished areas were ready as the project moved from final punch into occupancy. The outcome was a coordinated installation that supported the CDA’s relocation and reinforced the overall development’s community purpose.
