The Minnesota Lottery’s 60,000-square-foot Roseville headquarters recently underwent a comprehensive renovation focused on creating a more supportive and collaborative work environment. Henricksen worked hand in hand with the project team to reimagine how furniture could enhance daily operations, foster teamwork, and encourage authentic connections among employees.

A thoughtfully planned layout by BDH placed enclosed spaces at the center of the floor plan, maximizing access to natural light along the perimeter. Flexible workstations, collaborative furnishings, and comfortable lounge seating were introduced to support the way teams actually work. The break room was expanded to nearly 1,000 square feet and now features adaptable seating and tables for everything from casual coffee breaks to all-hands meetings.

The furniture selections drew inspiration from the Minnesota Lottery’s strong local roots. Warm wood tones evoke the feeling of a lakeside dock, while soft seating and communal pieces help create a welcoming, grounded atmosphere throughout the headquarters.
