Blank Canvas Henricksen + Allsteel | Gunlocke announce 2nd Annual Blank Canvas Charitable Art Auction. Last year’s event was a great success and we received a lot of great feedback from participants. Henricksen and Allsteel | Gunlocke look forward to inspiring artists to pick up their paintbrushes once again this summer with a renewed sense of creativity. The Concept: You are invited to register to be an artist for this event through Sunday, June 27th! Henricksen will supply a 16″ x 16″ blank canvas, packaging materials, and round trip shipping fees. Henricksen will ship out a canvas and return label to each artist beginning Wednesday, June 24th. Artists will have until Wednesday, July 21st to complete their piece and return to Henricksen. All canvases will be auctioned via a virtual silent auction site from Monday, July 26th – WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4TH. Proceeds from your canvas will go to a charity in your region. Your hard work and creativity will benefit your community. Frequently Asked Questions: How do I register to bid? Go to the auction site and click login in the upper right or lower left corner. Click register. Create your profile. I want to bid on local artwork, how do I do that? We have tagged each piece of art with its home region. The tags that you can search in the search field at the top of the auction items page are: Illinois, Minnesota, New-York, Milwaukee-Wisconsin, Madison-Wisconsin, and Wisconsin. Please note the hyphen in New-York and both Wisconsin regional tags. When does the auction close and bidding end? The auction closes at 8PM CT on August 4th. I have a question or concern. Artists are invited to use their own personal creativity in filling their canvases How will I receive/return my canvas? Henricksen will ship your canvas to the address provided via UPS. We will also include a pre-paid return UPS label. We ask that you re-use the packaging to return the completed canvas I need a duplicate UPS label or Artwork Information Sheet.
