Illinois State University, was founded in 1857, and is the oldest higher education provider in Illinois. Now the home to 20,000 students in Normal, Illinois this liberal arts university has a strong research and teaching emphasis.
Henricksen has been working with Illinois State University for over 15 years. We have provided space planning and furniture for various buildings across campus. ISU recently renovated The Linkins Dining Center, which adjoins 3 dormitories on campus.
For this project Henricksen partnered with Shive Hattery, the architectural firm, to bring their vision into reality. We provided tables, chairs and booths for their dining hall. This is one of the most popular cafeterias on campus because of its contemporary flair and in the same building, Henricksen also provided mobile lounge chairs for a study room, tv lounge, and high top tables for a game room in the basement of the hall.
