Columbia County‘s law enforcement center recently underwent a remodel to their existing building. Henricksen participated in the revitalization process, sourcing and installing an array of products from a number of different manufacturers. In the private offices, Allsteel Concensys with wood grain laminate and National seating was used. Henricksen also furnished a number of conference rooms, training rooms for the inmates, interrogation rooms, adjustable height workstations in the open office areas, a library and a kitchen.
One of Columbia County Sheriff Department’s unique needs was to create an extensive storage facility. The Sheriff’s Department has to maintain evidence of varying shapes and sizes for all cases for a number of years. Henricksen suggested high density filing systems as a solution to help maximize the available real estate and organize the different types of evidence. Converting to a high density filing system saved the county an immeasurable amount of space and, in turn, money.
