First Midwest Bank has been expanding from the Chicagoland area into the growing communities of western Illinois as well as Iowa and Indiana. First Midwest Bank actively participates in developing and supporting many local programs and events. They believe this support helps make each community a better place to live and conduct business.
The community is even incorporated into the design of their bank facilities. For instance, in the Plainfield branch location, they display a mural in their entry way that shows images of the community and its members. The artwork throughout the space is a collection of historic photographs depicting turn of the century Plainfield, and they also feature some artwork from a local photographer.
Henricksen has worked with First Midwest Bank to create a standards program for the office of the “bank of the future” for their branch banks. We have provided furniture for First Midwest Banks throughout the area as well as completely furnishing their new Corporate Headquarters in Itasca, IL.
Their recently completed Plainfield location shown in this profile was new construction. Henricksen worked alongside Interior Architects and Executive Construction to provide furnishings throughout the bank including: informal seating areas, open plan offices, private offices, conference rooms overlooking the growing community, and also a training room available to community members or business groups.
