Henricksen has partnered with Huron Consulting Group to furnish their offices in many major cities across the United States. Their newest location was recently completed in New York city. Huron wanted this new branch to be their focal office because of its central location in Manhattan’s financial district, and making an impression on industry leaders in this market is important. Their New York office is now the largest revenue generator of all their offices.

Henricksen worked with the client and the project team in this 56,000 sq. ft. space to provide the project management, product specification, and installation services for their New York office. Requesting a high image design, Henricksen specified Allsteel and Gunlocke products to create a sleek and sophisticated look. Henricksen provided furnishings for 64 private offices, 175 workstations, team rooms, a conference room, café, executive suite, and a high tech board room.

The client standardized on Allsteel Terrace 2.6 and Reach for their workstations. #19 and Sum chairs were selected for seating, as well as the Get Set products, Persona filing systems, CPU holders and ergonomic keyboard arms. Gunlocke provided a custom Sapele veneer in the conference and board rooms which was also placed throughout the executive area. This project was unique in that no millwork was used and everything was produced from Allsteel and Gunlocke. These two manufacturers were able to create a very lavish atmosphere and “custom” look with pockets of open space to let the natural light in, enhancing the experience of this environment without having to turn to expensive and timely millwork solutions.
