Minnesotans love to retreat “up to the lake” for some down time in the popular lake communities in North Central Minnesota. Baxter is one of those communities, located in a picturesque area dotted with lake shore and laced with bike trails to take in the scenery. Tourism helps support the town, and Baxter continues to experience large growth.
Growing right along these communities is Midwest bank, a locally owned and operated bank servicing communities in West Central Minnesota.
Ringdahl Architects worked with Midwest Bank to design their new Baxter location. They chose finishes of lighter wood to compliment the north-woods aesthetic prominent in the region. Henricksen was able to present a complete package to Midwest Bank working with the HNI family of companies. Doing this was advantageous because we could provide them with a cohesive look and finish while meeting differing price points for different areas of the bank.
Paul Ringdahl, the architect on the project, said he “liked working with (the Henricksen account executive). He was easier to work with than most furniture suppliers. He brings ideas to the table, instead of acting as an order taker. He had a good sense of design to help find solutions that worked.”
