When Meagher & Geer, one of the Midwest’s premier law firms, wanted to update their Minneapolis headquarters, they required a coordinated solution that offered a custom look to match their building’s existing millwork. With its material versatility, Allsteel’s Align offered the perfect solution.
Henricksen worked with Meagher & Geer to understand their unique needs and come up with a plan to strategically address them. The project represented the first change in furniture in many years for Meagher & Geer, and it was important to find a solution that addressed their specific storage needs and blended with existing millwork in the space.

With its wide range of material and finishes, Allsteel Align’s versatility allowed designers to easily create the distinctive look Meagher & Geer wanted throughout their entire office. The integration was further enhanced by utilizing custom-stained tiles with ClearTech® finish to ensure worksurfaces stayed beautiful for years to come.

A major requirement of Meagher & Geer was that the storage system accommodates redrope legal files. Henricksen addressed this need by designing custom Align overheads. This allows staff to keep pertinent files at their fingertips for instant reference, instead of searching for files in another location. And since the overhead storage looked like cabinetry, the storage solution blended seamlessly with the rest of the office.

“I have been very impressed with how smoothly the installation- and the entire process – have gone,” said designer Paula Storsteen of 20 Below Studio. “I really appreciate how thorough you are and how conscientious the team has been in implementing our design intent.”
