Creative Memories is a successful manufacturing and direct-sales business and has experienced dramatic growth since their start in 1987, causing them to outgrow their previous factory, distribution, and office-support workspaces. They decided to buy land for which they could build a new corporate campus on in St. Cloud, MN.

 

The first of the buildings on campus was to house the new factory showroom with support office spaces. Henricksen worked with the client to find furniture solutions to suit their needs, specifying Terace 3.4 frame and tile systems, Persona and Essentials storage, Marbles tables for mobile teaming areas, and a number of seating solutions.

 

Creative Memories is an employee owned company that believes that a workplace should not only promote productivity, but be a positive and welcoming environment. Their new 315k square foot space is now a showplace for employees, consultants and visitors alike. The client appreciated the versitility that Terrace 3.4 brought to the table, stating, "we were able to create our own unique look with relatively standard products." The result was functional workspaces with great teaming areas. The Allsteel systems furniture also earned Creative Memories LEED credits for making environmentally responsible choices.

 

Together, we were able to achieve the overall vision of the designer, incorporated the client's desired aesthetic style while working within budgetary restraints. The Creative Memories project is proof that an office space can also express companywide values.
