Henricksen has worked with Restaurant Technologies (RTI) since they were a young start up company in 2000 with 13 employees. Since then, RTI has grown into a thriving company and has been recognized as one of the top 50 fastest growing Minnesota companies. Today RTI has over 40 corporate employees and additional service centers across the country.

 

RTI’s goal was to create an environment that was warm and inviting, yet functional for their biggest asset—their employees. RTI, Opus, and Henricksen teams began collaborating 6 months prior to their move on everything from space planning to final finish selections.

For the open office plan, RTI chose Allsteel’s Reach product, an innovative product that allowed the employees the option to face the outside of the workstation for a private office feel. The walls in the open plan were staggered to take advantage of the abundance of natural light. Lower height walls in the front of the workstations also created an open feel to foster communication and collaboration among the employees and management.

 

In both executive and management offices, RTI wanted a consistent look, feel and finish in all the offices. OFS fit the bill perfectly. To reward the executives that have stayed loyal through a difficult start-up period, they were outfitted with a complimentary wood-laminate product that was constant in style right down to the drawer pulls.
