This private Liberal Arts college in western Illinois is known for it’s classic style and traditional stance on education. When asked to work with the college, Henricksen provided Monmouth College with products, services and design to suit their needs and character.

 

Henricksen has been working with Monmouth College for 11 years and counting, furnishing new buildings as well as working on remodels and updates around campus. Henricksen was hired to provide services for the projects including project management, design, installation and asset management. The overall design is very traditional, creating a classy yet comfortable atmosphere. The goal of these projects is to provide the feeling of a home away from home for the students.

 

In Monmouth signature style, when building the new Huff Athletic Center, they wanted to preserve the school’s history. So, they built it around the old gymnasium to incorporate the old with the new.

 

Henricksen has provided a variety of product solutions to many areas of the college. Custom casegoods were used in the library with Community chairs at the study tables. The library’s lounge areas have large, overstuffed Leathercraft seating. Fixtures Furniture and Landscape Forms were used in the Café and outdoor patio. Allsteel workstations and #19 chairs were specified for the Huff Athletic Center. Dorm lounges have a variety of manufacturers including Martin Brattrud and Krug to name a few.
