Founded in 2000 by Jon Hempel, the commercial real estate development firm has flourished and sought the expertise of Henricksen to accommodate its relocation to Maple Grove. What once was a small start-up business is now a Minneapolis/St. Paul-based company that currently owns and manages more than 600,000 square feet of office, retail, multi-family and industrial property, with ongoing expansion plans throughout the United States. Henricksen ensured Hempel’s industry know-how was reflected in its newly developed headquarters.

 

Henricksen began working with Hempel Properties in the fall of 2005 to create an environment befitting Hempel’s taste and professional capabilities. Henricksen modified existing designs, then collaborated to provide cost conscious solutions for furniture and finish selections; key last minute detail touches helped to further refine the office setting. An array of product lines were utilized for this project to create versatile appeal in both the workstations and the café meeting space. The finished product showcases a distinctive style consistent with the company’s innovative reputation.
