Henricksen hosts Dr. Dieter Breithecker, a German health and kinetics scientist, for an informative and engaging presentation to Wisconsin interior designers, architects, educators, and administrators.
Recognized as a leading expert on ergonomics, Dr. Breithecker will discuss ways to develop school environments that incorporate movement and promote health, well-being, and learning among children.
Henricksen is proud to partner with VS Furniture in sharing Dr. Beithecker’s expertise and enthusiasm for designing brain-based learning environments during three separate sessions in Cedarburg, Milwaukee, and Brookfield, WI on April 14, 2016.
Dr. Dieter Breithecker is the head of the Federal Institute on the Development of Posture and Exercise in Wiesbaden, Germany, a member of Ergonomics for Children & Educational Environment (ECEE), as well as an empirical partner of the European Union funded project Task Furniture in Education (TFE). Since 1993, he has been a board member for the German Society for Health-Promoting Schools. He is widely published on the subject of ergonomics for children and human workstations.
As an international expert, Dr. Breithecker presents to audiences across Europe, Asia, Indonesia, North America, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. He is well known for sharing more than just scientific research, but also a contagious joy for life that changes the way people think about the school environment and what is best for our children.
