Accounts Payable, Billing, and Cash Application Specialist

Henricksen has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable, Billing and Cash Application Specialist in our Itasca, IL office. We’re looking for an organized and driven self-starter to join our growing accounting team. This position will work closely with other team members to handle a variety of accounting and administrative duties.

Essential Duties + Responsibilities
  • Verify vendor invoices to orders in the system
  • Identify when to bill lines on an order and process them in the system
  • Select vendor invoices to be paid and run checks to vendors
  • Identify payments from customers and post checks and wires to customer open account balances
  • Review daily reports and confirm the accuracy of postings
  • Various administrative duties as necessary

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of three years of experience with accounts payable, billing and cash application
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with spreadsheets and pdf files
  • Experience with AS400 a plus
